Jumpshare is a solid tool. But if you record demos, tutorials or reaction videos, two things trip people up: it only shows one webcam bubble, and your recording goes to Jumpshare's servers. EZ Web Streams fixes both — and it's cheaper.
The short version
EZ Web Streams runs entirely in your browser. You can drop two webcam circles onto your screen recording, blur anything sensitive before you hit record, and get a live transcript you can turn into a summary or article. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to upload the finished file. The Free plan gives you 5-minute 720p recordings forever, and Pro is $7.99/mo — a third less than Jumpshare Plus at $12.
Why two cameras actually matters
Most screen recorders give you a single round webcam overlay. That's fine for a solo walkthrough. It falls apart the moment you have:
- A co-host or second presenter on a different camera
- A face cam plus a document camera or phone pointed at a whiteboard
- A reaction video where you want your face and a guest's face side by side
EZ Web Streams composites both cameras into the recording as separate circles. Drag each one where you want it, resize it, or snap it to a corner. The position and size are remembered for next time, so you set it up once.
Honest comparison
We're not going to pretend Jumpshare is bad — it has a mature file-sharing platform and a big library of hosted content. Here's how the recording side stacks up, feature by feature.

The trade-off, stated plainly
Jumpshare's whole model is hosting. Every recording gets a shareable link on their platform, which is genuinely convenient if link-sharing is your workflow. EZ Web Streams does the opposite: the recording is a file that stays with you. You export the video, or push it straight to YouTube from the timeline editor. If you want a hosted link for every clip, Jumpshare wins on that one axis. If you'd rather your footage never touch someone else's server, that's exactly the point of EZ Web Streams.
The other honest caveat: our Free tier keeps the 5-minute / 720p limit forever instead of pushing you toward a paid host. Pro lifts the length and resolution, adds your logo, guest cameras and more, for $7.99/mo.
Who should switch
Pick EZ Web Streams if you record two-person content, handle anything confidential on screen, or simply don't want a recorder that uploads your video by default. Pick Jumpshare if your core need is instant hosted links and you don't mind one webcam.
