Step 1 — Open the editor

Step 2 — Cut the shape of your video
Move the playhead to where a mistake starts, split, split again after it, and ripple-delete the piece in between. Do that for the dead air and the flubbed takes and you've got the spine of your edit. Step 3 — Make it look finished
Now the polish, all in the same tab. Add a crossfade so two clips melt together instead of jumping. Zoom into the moment you want people to notice.
